Arctic Kingdom – ‘Poppy’ – A dapple grey with a very kind nature, she likes to jump and is enthusiastic about everything!

Although Poppy is one of the younger horses at the yard what she lacks in experience she makes up for in enthusiasm and a willingness to work. She is a very level headed horse who once encouraged, by her mount, will do anything to please them.

Currently Poppy in addition to her work within the riding school is being schooled by a friend of Brenda’s to help her realise her full potential in show jumping and cross country. Hopefully by the summer Poppy will be ready to attend some local shows and show off her potential!

Poppy is a very kind natured mare and her riders range from our most experienced riders who enjoy her very large scope for jumping, to smaller children who like her sweet nature and the way she takes care of them.

‘Poppy is an enthusiastic horse and will put 100% effort into everything she does and is very responsive. She has a lovely jump and has taught me many tricks. She is a very forward going horse. Poppy is my favourite of all, and I have won a lot of competitions on her. She makes me very determined! Poppy has made me excel with my riding in many ways.’ - Ellie
